Chris Bledsoe is one of the most recognisable and talked-about figures in the modern UFO community. As the author of UFO of God and a regular presence across documentaries, television shows, and podcasts, his experiences—and the footage associated with them—have become a focal point for both belief and debate.

Recently, new attention has been drawn to a piece of UFO footage connected to the Bledsoe family after my friend and regular collaborator Peter Osborne took a closer look at it. Peter comes from a technical art background and has spent many years enhancing, restoring, and analysing imagery and video. His work isn’t about adding information that isn’t there, but about extracting what already exists in the data—clarifying structure, motion, and detail that is otherwise difficult or impossible to see.

While working with the Bledsoe family, Peter enhanced sections of their UFO footage, and what emerged on close inspection appeared to show structured forms—what some viewers have interpreted as numbers or symbols—within the orb itself. Once this material surfaced, it quickly spread across social media and forums, igniting intense discussion, scepticism, excitement, and attempts at debunking.

Given the reaction, it felt essential to slow the conversation down and actually walk through the process. In this episode of the UAP Files Podcast, Peter joins me to explain exactly what he did, what tools were used, what wasn’t done, and what the footage does—and does not—show. Together, we look at the enhanced video, still frames, and the most common criticisms and counter-arguments that have emerged online.

Debunks

The current debunks are fairly simple.

They are that Peter simply added numbers by the AI software that he uses - because he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

This kind of debunk conclusion would normally end it there. Simple solution, probably right and the case loses all credibility. You’d be daft to still believe it’s anything other than AI.

Only it cant be Peter’s enhancements, because the numbers are in the raw footage, which he checked because he didn’t believe it himself. Unsurprisingly, if you know Pete, he does his due diligence.

So it’s not in the enhancement.

This is not about asking you to accept a conclusion. It’s about transparency, method, and letting people see the work for themselves. Whether you believe the footage is extraordinary, mundane, misinterpreted, or still unresolved, this conversation is about understanding how image enhancement works, where its limits are, and how easily narratives can form once imagery enters the public domain.
