In a recent video I produced with the invaluable assistance of Julian Marti—who provided translation and crucial context—we explored a fascinating UFO sighting from Patagonia. Thanks to Argentina’s version of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), multiple official reports from witnesses have now been made public, shedding light on this mysterious incident.
The original article, published by Infobae, details an extraordinary event in Puerto Madryn, a coastal city in the Chubut province of Patagonia. Witnesses reported seeing unidentified object emerging from the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, a phenomenon known as a USOs (Unidentified Submersible Objects). According to testimonies, the objects, described as balls of light, shot up into the sky with an immense burst of speed after breaking through the water’s surface. Multiple objects at different speeds and trajectories.
Official reports have been filed by multiple witnesses, including some from credible sources such as naval personnel - in fact Captains of two ships. The reports document not only the visual aspects of the sighting but also the sudden interference with electronic devices in the area during the event—a common characteristic in UAP encounters worldwide.
What makes this particular case stand out is the availability of official records that have surfaced through FOIA requests. These documents confirm the credibility of the sighting and provide an opportunity to scrutinise the details more thoroughly. Julian and I took a deep dive into this case, analysing the object’s behaviour, its interaction with the ocean, and the potential implications for UAP research.
This case highlights a common link between both air and sea. Sightings like this, where objects are seen entering or exiting bodies of water, have been recorded in various parts of the world, making this particular case in Patagonia important in UFO/UAP research.
Whilst this case had no footage or photographic evidence to go with it, the fact that the transmissions with the coast control, the FOIA documents and the corroborated evidence from two different ships personnel - including the Captains makes this an incredibly compelling case. There are no known terrestrial objects, or technology that can perform in ways described by these witnesses o The ability to come up from under water, shoot off in to the sky at extraordinary speeds, with no apparent means of propulsion, wings, rotor, engine, sound, and whizz around the sky for a significant period of time leaving the seamen in awe and amazement.
The UAP Files and associated Podcast is committed to bringing you the most credible and well-documented UAP encounters, and this case from Argentina is just one example of the fascinating phenomena unfolding globally.
