There is a secret technology. This technology is used for spying purposes. Plasma propulsion panels are located in the form of circular zones around the perimeter and on the bottom of the aircraft. The propulsion plasma pulse is created by cells - thousands of micro railguns. If an electric current is applied to the rail contacts, induction accelerates the spark that closes the contacts to cosmic speeds. The momentum created by the railgun can be used not only to fire, but also to move. Therefore, spacecraft are equipped with pulse engines, which at the right moment shoot plasma to transfer from one orbit to another. You can search the web for “Ablative Pulsed Plasma Engine”. Such engines are large: a plasma jet occurs when a plastic plug between the electrodes burns. Propulsion plasma panels have a different device. Here, mini-dischargers in the form of cells are connected together, railguns are reduced to the size of a ballpoint pen, and assembled into flat panels, which in design resemble plasma TV panels. The distance between the contacts is insignificant - up to 1 mm - the discharge spark becomes a jumper between them. The cells operate synchronously: they shoot streams of plasma - sparks of electric discharges accelerated by the force of induction. The speed is high, the number of railguns in the panels reaches hundreds of thousands - the total motor impulse huge! The discharges occur at a megahertz frequency, each pulse striking the air, which swirls into toroidal rings. These propulsion panels are used for atmospheric aircraft. From below and along the movement of the apparatus, plasma pulses create a column of ring vortices - and so it flies... In a vortex jet, due to the rotation of air, the temperature drops - therefore, moisture from the air is frozen out by snowflakes. Snow dust reflects the light created by the electrical discharges of the panel. The result is a “solid beam”, which, when the apparatus is rocked, bends due to the curvature of the trajectory of the flying vortex rings. Devices of this type fly quickly, they are maneuverable (due to the lightness of the device), but pulsed plasma engines generate microwave radiation. The carrying capacity of these devices is low. There is no radio communication. A narrow niche of applicability is rare spy missions. Now they are no longer relevant at all.
